Based on the video I have seen Lefteris is a combo guard and can play the point. He is not a sf.
He’s Joey California from UConn last year. He’s a 2. If he’s playing point something has gone wrong. I could see him playing the 3 as well.

Still hoping for Hopkins jump. He b is a difference maker. Don't know if that is still a possibility
The portal is only open for a month from Selection Sunday this year. They shortened it to cut down on the chaos. There will be no late portaling.
45 days (down from 60)...thru May 1 this year.
5th year grads can portal late if I am no mistaken. But I probably am.
45 days. Unless a coach leaves after the deadline, then those players can enter the portal.
Graduate transfers can enter any time.

Here’s what I don’t get with Bensley. Rick limes his point guards to be prolific scorers. Bensley is anything but.

But here’s the thing with that. Towards the later part of the season, Rick was more concerned with his team scoring as many points as they could (he even stated so) then being concerned with defense. I’m not sure if his coaching philosophy actually changed or if he got tired of trying to get these kids play D. Either way as I’ve said in other threads , Rick always liked his PGs to be prolific scorers which Jenkins was.

Not to create controversy but , the announcement on Lefteris seem to indicate he played guard in the Greek League ..
There has to be a lot about him that RP likes as a player . Plus , when he committed he was just 17 years old .
European players are usually sound fundamentally , maybe not as creative or explosive as our kids in the US are … But , they have shown they can play .
Doubt Rick has any uncertainty about him , otherwise he wouldn’t have locked him up so far in advance .
One thing though . I have rarely seen many posts about what kind of year or player that Glover is ?
Likely not going to crack the starting lineup here , although RP has done that on occasion with Wilcher and Dunlap .
The portal is just getting started and until the Merry Go Round stops , we haven’t seen all the entrants yet .
Like last year , there will be some decommits, players moving due to new Coaches, etc
I’m in the group that is trying to understand how Clayton comes here ? Will it be more $$$ ?
What does St John’s offer him the Florida doesn’t ? Also , how high is he regarded right now by the NBA scouts ?
No one disputes he is a terrific player . Likely coveted by many programs if he enters the portal .
Is he that close to RP that he would return to NY ?
This off season is going to be interesting with player movement .
Reliable feedback that when Kadary goes portal, SJU will have interest. The guy may not play at warp speed, but is a stat stuffer like another slo mo guy back when, Kyle Anderson. Both are awesome rebounders, an asset you never have enough of.
That is if you are an undergrad. If you are a graduate you can still enter the portal at anytime like Ledlum last year.
