im with you... I think this one takes some logistical convincing but gets done.I think it’s better than 50-50 chance Clayton comes. Clayton was quoted that Florida team didn’t work hard enough. He wants NBA… no one was offering him out of hs except Pitino. Look how much he grew as a player…. He knows pitino will work him and get him ready for NBA. If u wanted nba and didn’t have confidence in Florida coaches… what would you do?
Much different situation compared to last year. He fulfilled playing back home which is something he really wanted to do. We’ll see what happens now as it’s all about $$$ and his career development.Clayton feels like way beyond wishful thinking honestly. It just doesn't make sense to me from his perspective/situation. If he were to come here why not last year with DJ in year 1 of Pitino. We know he had a pregnant gf who has since had the kid. So now that the kid will be basically 1 he'll come back to NY? It's the same situation as last year basically, so what changed that it's viable now as opposed to last year when being close to family was the priority? Doesn't really make sense to me. All signs point to him going pro if anything.
If I'm the staff of course I reach out and ask and gauge temperature, doesn't hurt.
Obviously I'd sign up for it in a heartbeat over literally anyone in the portal, including Cliff, that's how good I think Clayton is, especially paired with Sim. But I am absolutely not holding my breath and thus will hopefully be pleasantly surprised if it happens.
I’ve seen him listed between 6’4” to 6’6”Lil insider info lol.... dapped up Jaiden at the concessions at the Prov Halftime... and this is after an hour of R+W pregame / couple first half tall boys... so i was friendly lol... He might be 6'4 on a good day. Still a big kid,,,,

Agreed. Bensley seems like the better fit for overall roster construction but that all depends on the staff closes on another guard that can really scoreIf I had to guess, seems like it might be Bensley who is clearly the better defender and more of a point guard.
My bet is on Bensley JosephNo clue how plugged in he is but one of the guys on the discord (not sure if he’s on this board or not) says that the staff will cancel the DJ visit if Bensley commits before Monday. Apparently staff will only take one of those two
Much prefer Bensley, Davis should be a bench player on a good teamNo clue how plugged in he is but one of the guys on the discord (not sure if he’s on this board or not) says that the staff will cancel the DJ visit if Bensley commits before Monday. Apparently staff will only take one of those two

Based on his performance at Florida, seems like Rick has already given Clayton the opportunity to audition at the next level. And becoming a dad only makes Florida -- where he has family -- seem more like a keeper for the Gators.Maybe Clayton misses RP and knows he will give him the opportunity to audition for the next level. Also he choose Florida to be close to his gf at this age do relationships really last more than a year? It aint over till the fat lady sings
just giving u guys that hard-hitting insider Elitist info you craveWhat are you the height police?![]()
Like we did last year, nothing. Many Football teams do it all the time with Kickers, Punters and long snappers.Quick question about schollies and NIL: 13 players on a scholarship got it. What is preventing a player from using a portion of NIL as tuition and be a walk-on?
You don’t replace production from an NIT team. You build something different.Do you think Joseph and Davis’ production will replicate Dingle and Jenkins who combined for 46 points against UConn in the Big East tourney?
Not to mention that Davis and Joseph will likely both not be on the team. You don’t replace production from an NIT team. You build something different.
How many points did those two allow? How many easy points did they create from defense? How many fouls did they draw to make the opposing guards sit and get into the bonus early to completely change how teams can play defense?
It goes way beyond how many pts they scored.
Gotta offer him big big money and make it hard for him to turn it down.Based on his performance at Florida, seems like Rick has already given Clayton the opportunity to audition at the next level. And becoming a dad only makes Florida -- where he has family -- seem more like a keeper for the Gators.
