A few factors seem to weigh in our favor. He is not projected to be a first round NBA pick. His relationship with RP can’t hurt. He is a great fit and we need his skill set. Most of all, we have $ to pay him by all accounts. Great college players who are not highly valued by the NBA (for whatever reason) are the sweet spot in the new NIL world.

I think forcing a player to have to sit a year if they transfer to a school after transferring before.This will only work if they inforce the rule.

How do you feel about Mikeal Brown-Jones? sju79# mentioned him as someone to keep an eye on. He's 6'8", 220 from Philly. His stats are 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 54% FG% and 43.1 3PT%.
It could have been or could have been the $ and the fact that RP had one returning player.
This is the subject of a lawsuit. For now, NCAA is enjoined from enforcing the rule.

I am a few pages behind and just typed the same thing out word for word including the question mark but decided not to send it until I read the rest of the thread.
It will not work because the NCAA tried enforcing it, were taken to court because of it and lost. That is why all of the multiple transfers were able to play after the season started.
NCAA is appealing but for now, they can’t enforce it without a court injunction.
I think we need a bigtime PG/ComboGuard badly.
And with the NIL promises from Repole and Matt A on board, etc, it would feel empty to me if we didn't get one.
I don't have as much confidence in Sim as others here do.
And none of the guard names so far mentioned moves the needle at all.
Joseph seems like a fine backup on a good team and Davis is a good catch-and-shoot player but that's about it.

I have no issue with any of those 3 individually. If we got those 4 and lost no one else from current roster, I think I’d be a little let down at the pull. Not devastated by any means.
I do think each of them will be capable contributors and potential BE starters. Would prefer one of the perimeter guys we get is close to an all league caliber. But of course, what school doesn’t?
SJU79 said Cliff is a lock, which is great. I think we need a really, really good guard to pair with Wilcher. If we can do that, I'm fine with however else the roster shakes out.

I’m ok with that Paultz only because we have Rick Pitino as our coach and he will win with that. Especially if we have Wilcher, Dunlap, Zuby, Luis and Ledlum coming back. I would like Taylor back also.
