Let’s say hypothetically we land Cliff next week and Ledlum gets his waiver. That would give us a starting lineup of:

G - Wilcher
G - ?
F - Luis
F - Ledlum
C - Cliff

Of the available guards out there and those that we’ve been linked to (obviously more to come) who do we think is the best fit into that starting lineup?

If we are doing a "link"... then the obvious and only answer is Clayton....

Great question.

Problem is I don't think any of the available guards we've been mentioned with (so far) move the needle to where we want to be talent-wise.

Best to be patient. Have a feeling a lot of names will emerge.

What i've heard..again more than ever bc of teams jumping in with huge offers very fluid
1) Cliff is coming. This is done.
2)Bc of my relationship with Chris i'd prefer not to comment
3) Hofstra kid likely... Okl kid not coming and Hopkins a long shot for many reasons .. Brea i hear mixed things how staff feels....obvi need the shooting but his size and lack of a few things concerning
4) Mia kid is on hold per SJ but they like him
5) Clayton...he's not a 1sr rd pick. Everything settled at home so i'd keep an eye on this one.
6) So many more kids to enter staff learned its lesson not to lock in kids too early unless quality or Cliff, Clayton. The money is there ... the misinformation being spread by ppl trying to break scoops in insane. With a kid whose still playing his agent has been approached by 11 schools and rumors floating about him transferring to 4 diff schools.... and none of them are the 11 he's heard from

Any chance Jordan plays in college next year?

Love that we are in great position for cliff, hopefully that happens. I really hope clayton will be an option because this will truly allow us to be good early on with him knowing the system already and being as good as he is. I think the hofstra kid would be such a great addition with his ability to score from the outside. If this could be 3 of our new guys sign me up!!!

If our 13-man depth chart looked something like this next year I’d be ecstatic as would we all:

Guards: Wilcher, Clayton, Joseph, Lefteris
Wings: Luis, Dubar, Dunlap, Glover, Ayo
Post: Cliff, Ledlum, Zuby, Maker

In that scenario would expect a 9-man rotation with Glover, Lefteris, Ayo and Maker not seeing significant floor time. But getting way ahead of myself here. 😏

From all accounts, Glover has to see minutes in that scenario, despite being a freshman. And, I 'd swap Taylor for Luis...
