Dunlap could make a huge leap this year and play 20-25 min a game. Or he can not take the leap and play 10 min a game. We don’t know at all at this point. Maybe he takes minutes away from 2-3 other guys instead of him getting minutes taken away from him. Nobody knows yet. But I can bet you that he is going to try and be on that floor as much as the next person.

But yes it is a message board and the off season so go at it and play coach general manager and recruiter.

I think that if Ledlam gets cleared to play another season, he will make a lot more money in the portal than St. John’s is able to pay him.

I was the one that wrote Ledlum would get 15 minutes in the unlikely scenario where we had Watkins and Dingle.

It was not meant to be definitive in any way. If he got 16 minutes or 21 minutes I wouldn’t be shocked. It’s an educated guess. It would be exhausting to add “in my opinion” to every single post. The coaches don’t even know these answers.

I would think Watkins would command more in the portal than Ledlum so if we have a puncher’s chance for Watkins I would say we have a very good chance to keep Ledlum if he’s eligible, particularly given that Ledlum is by all indications happy here. I also assume he will be grateful that SJU assisted with his lawsuit.

Here’s another thought. If we get Watkins and Ledlum gets eligible can the Johnnies NIL fund afford both? I think that Rick told Ledlum to enter the portal in case that scenario comes to fruition.
