Having watched Rutgers play many times during Cliff's time there, I can assure you that those are his strengths
He used to foul a lot on defense but he has improved greatly in that area in the past couple of years
He can rim protect, score at the rim, set screens (and roll) and play defense as well (or better) than Joel
He doesn't have much of an offensive game outside the lane but he won't be needed to do that

Soriano's inability to guard the pick n roll this year was the biggest flaw on the defensive side. It is why the team played so much better for stretches with Zuby in the game.
