Hopefully we are using our NIL prudently to negotiate with players who are a must get versus nice to have and secure their services sooner rather than later.
I'm confident we'll land a good center but hopefully we don't just settle for a guard or forward if they don't have immediate scoring potential on the Big East level.
The days of learning curves are over along with freshmen making immediate impact.

I’ll say it again, I truly believe that if a Big East team wants to make the tournament they have to be ranked. If they are not ranked forget about it. Most of the at-large bids are going to the football conferences.

It's not just that. The networks have an incentive to raise the profile of the football conferences and you can bet they are influencing who gets in the tourney.
