I don’t want to hijack this thread, but Butler was absolutely terrible. They would be the last place team most years if not for the historically bad duo of Georgetown and DePaul. We never got better as a team. Our schedule did.

We were not a good basketball team. We weren’t a bad basketball team, but we weren’t good.

We need a whole different caliber of roster to get off the bubble — which is where I think most of us would expect to be year 2 with a hall of fame coach.

At the end of the season , I think you could say we were a good BB team. Early on the season , we were not a good BB team.
Not making the Tournament was a NCAA political decision , I. E. ,” let’s screw the BE Conference .”

We are all expecting better results next season .
Finishing in top 5 of the League , usually means a Tourney spot . Barring a continuation of stupid NCAA decisions .
Mountain West? Ha ! Big 10 over rated always ?
Virginia ? A joke !

I didn’t buy the Selection BS about upsets in Conference Championships denying at least 3 more BE spots . Nor, the crap about early season. Bad losses .

It was a SShow by the NCAA and Purdue being embarrassed by UCONN was the just reward .

I’ll say it again, I truly believe that if a Big East team wants to make the tournament they have to be ranked. If they are not ranked forget about it. Most of the at-large bids are going to the football conferences.
