This is the issue at hand. It should not be in the schools hands to provide NIL! Do the Lakers get jobs for Lebron where he can benefit from his NIL or does his agent? It is his agent! Hire agents to get you paying gigs based off of your Name Image and Likeness and play basketball for the school/coach that is your best fitAnd we will be outbid because SJU will not be paying kids these silly numbers that are being thrown around. Rick Pitino is very serious about kids earning their NIL, not just because they (or this handler) THINK that's what they deserve
I'm not suggesting Glover will be better than Scott. I'll concede this point. I also agree that Scott's "calling card" is his 3 pt shooting. But Luis averaged 10.9 points per game playing only 21.2 minutes per game while Scott averaged 11.0 points per game playing 30.3 minutes per game. I'm merely saying in my view, the players I identified are all similar in size and abilities and would compliment each other nicely. But where does this leave Ayo? Will there be enough playing time to keep all of these players happy? You are exactly right that it is my guess that Glover will not be ready to guard 4s. More so that he won’t be better than Scott at it.
Luis and his production numbers might be similar. Does that make them the same player? As I mentioned, Scott’s calling card on offense is his 3 pt shooting.
You are literally the only person on this site worried about whether our recruiting will make Ayo happy.I'm not suggesting Glover will be better than Scott. I'll concede this point. Happy Ayo happy lifeYou are literally the only person on this site worried about whether our recruiting will make Ayo happy.
Also fair to point out last years recruiting started in March. So Pitino on this date last year was on the job 3 weeks. Sorry I know we were all probably irrational but he did pretty good if you ask me. Of course, we didn’t achieve the goal.No need to go full mob, but fair to question results so far. And using last year's recruiting results as a reason for fans to calm down, ain't helping none.
Things are never ever done, until it's really done.Reality of this craziness is you can offer a solid kid, not superstar, like Cliff 750-900k and still be trumped by elites w mega “bubba sharks”. Additionally as SJU79 said you can leave the table feeling you have an agreement and 24 hours later you don’t. I was told by several very reliable guys ( & different from SJU79’s) it was done & I will now go the SJU79 route and be more conservative with my feedback.
Ayo is not a BE level player and better served getting time at lower level conferenceI'm not suggesting Glover will be better than Scott. I'll concede this point. That's a bullshit response. I don't care about making Ayo happy. I'm only curious as to what he's going to do. I thought you were smarter than that. You are literally the only person on this site worried about whether our recruiting will make Ayo happy.
Underrated character actor.Bill Nunn, may he rest in peace.
You got me!That's a bullshit response. I don't care about making Ayo happy. I'm only curious as to what he's going to do. I thought you were smarter than that.
Of course , it was a benefit to us . But , he did initially turn down our offer . Stuff happens allTenn brought back the kid who had declared for the draft -- James I think -- who plays the same position as Ledlum. Ledlum so his minutes going to the way of our buddy Tobe A, and so he went to a place with more potential minutes who was recruiting him before he committed to Tenn. I think it was that simple.
Well if pitino wants him here I defer to himAyo is not a BE level player and better served getting time at lower level conference
ObviouslyWell if pitino wants him here I defer to him
If Ayo wants/needs any type of serious playing time in order to be happy, then no I don’t think there will be enough. But I think that’s gonna be the case regardless if it’s Scott or someone else.I'm not suggesting Glover will be better than Scott. I'll concede this point. I also agree that Scott's "calling card" is his 3 pt shooting. The collegiate world of sports has always been a world of back ally deals, lies, deception and dishonesty which in the past were just the institutions and coaching staffs, now that the players have become acclimated to the process, the whole situation is quite ugly.Things are never ever done, until it's really done.
When there's no going back on your word, that's when it's done.
Can't trust anyones word.
Probably because he's International player and its not the wild west with them.Suspended both times for impermissible benefits. Not sure why that's relevant.
