Do we even have any targets?
We have at least 10 legit targets with more on the way. We have several visits upcoming starting tomorrow with more on the way. Staff is working their butts off shooting at moving targets, playing whack a mole etc. Krissa, Amari, Trey, Cliff, Scott etc. We're in good hands...just need a little patience which none of us has.

Do they want to play in Lexington?

They'll be stiff competition for all our targets. What else is new? Well, we've got CRP and NIL. We'll win some and lose some. Hopefully, we won't go 2 and 8 in the middle of portal season.

Aaron Scott is visiting next week
I have a question about why we are targeting Aaron Scott. His profile indicates he's a very good player, especially on defense, but what exactly does he bring to the table that Luis, Dunlap, Glover and even Ayo don't? These players are all similar in size and stature and have similar abilities. The only thing that I can think of is this may force Ayo into the portal.

He’s the shooter then Luis isn’t and the defender that Dunlap isn’t. Glover is an unproven freshmen who, even with nice size, will not be ready to guard 4s.

And I love Ayo, but he’s not gonna prevent us from taking anyone.

Doesn’t count until Paultzman posts it or at least puts the stamp of approval on it 🤣😂

None of this is sustainable
This crazy, no it's not sustainable, and I really think that as quick as NIL became a reality, it will some how come crashing down. Someone or some thing will bring it down. These numbers are so insane that even schools with large NIL will eventually say enough. I just hope college sports survive.
These kids are no longer students, they have all become employees. If it continues college sports will disintegrate from their own stupidity.

Last year, Scott's stats and Luis' stats were almost exactly the same. With respect to Dunlap, his defense improved throughout the year and if he gets stronger and puts on more weight, his defense should be even better next year. With respect to Glover who is a highly rated recruit out of high school, you're just guessing that he can't guard 4s. With respect to Ayo, I didn't mention at all that he was going to prevent us from taking anyone. I just suggested that he might consider entering the portal if we recruit Scott.

You are exactly right that it is my guess that Glover will not be ready to guard 4s. More so that he won’t be better than Scott at it.

Luis and his production numbers might be similar. Does that make them the same player? As I mentioned, Scott’s calling card on offense is his 3 pt shooting.

Yeah I don't see any way around this other than congressional action

Strikes me as most similar to Taylor but more aggressive offensively.
Agree and seems like for whatever his deficiencies, Taylor would fill a nice need next year plus he has a year in the system and seems like a great kid. I know others have said he’s gone and not coming back but he seems to make a lot of sense given the current roster, but I think that’s mainly because I just liked his game and would enjoy watching him grow a bit
