Harp on D'Angelo all you want.

But the team/coaches have done nothing to get him a decent shot.

We have plenty of game film showing how to swing the ball against a zone for an open three.

More growing pains. Nobody said this season was going to be cake. Let's just back these kids up as much as possible rather than knocking them so quickly.

He had plenty of good looks, especially for someone supposed to be one of the best shooters in his class

Anyone here the announcer say that Dunlap was telling one of the players that "they couldn't get away with that kind of stuff in college; it may have worked in high school, but it won't work at this level."

I think that just about sums up this team. They need to learn how to play the game at this level.

I really hope we can beat Texas Pan American. Are they a real team or the farm club for the Washington Generals?

He was chucking them up three feet behind the line.

How can our coaches allow our best shooter stay up top against a zone? Move him along the baseline and swing the ball for a corner shot.

When was the last time the starting PG of a BE didn't make a 3 pointer all season? I think it is a strong possibility this year. Nuri's 3s are not even close. We are a better team with him and Stith on the bench and Green running the show.

Where oh where has our transition offense gone?

It's certainly gone south.

On another note: This could very, well be a long season. I'm actually expecting it to be one. But, some posters are quick to throw in the towel. I've been watching sports for nearly 34 years and I've seen things change on a dime for teams (whether, in a team's favor or against it).

we need a couple of juco's next year. these freshman are going to take a while to develop. harkless is the only one that has game right now

TIS, well said. It amazes me how many people have given up.

This is a young team, still getting used to playing with each other, and they are not playing for the coach who recruited them. I think that's got to count for something, not having Lavin on that bench.

Everybody should just calm down and despite the frustrating losses, we should all enjoy watching these guys gel over the course of this season. I'm still not expecting to see an NCAA bid at the end of this season, but hey, who knows? ;)

This slowdown strategy makes Louie look like Paul Westhead.

Don't care if we only play 6 or 7.... this team has to RUN. They cannot score any other way.

I think the lay-off will be good for us. The team needs to clear its head and get back at it in practice. The most alarming thing that I see right now is the inability to hit a high per-centage of shots. I know this is going to be a stupid statement, but you cant win if u dont put the ball in the basket. We were able to out rebound Detroit by 15, we hit the same amount of 3's 5 and the same number of FT's, but still we were out of it early. We shot awful in the first half and not counting a late couple of 3's horrible in the second half.

Hopefully getting Garrett here in a couple of weeks will help with depth. Like I said before Stith doesnt supply enough offense and is too small on the defensive end, garrett will give us some more size and scoring and rebounding ability.
