 I had this same sick to my stomach feeling watching Norm coached teams play like this. Who would have thought that feeling would be back only nine games in? Awesome.

Wow. I just gotta keep reminding myself we'll be good next year. This is tough to watch. 

 
Not without some additional quality players.

 

I know it's easy to say "we suck" but no team/coach would be great with no D1 experience, being undersized and undermanned. Give them time. Do you really think we won't add some big bodies for next season? Lavin's proved he can recruit. We look really bad right now I know, but we will only get better. These players will mature, we'll get some depth, we'll get our coach back on the sideline, and these kids will learn our system and how to play D1 bball.

This season will be brutally tough to watch, but we will be much better next year. 

 


Ask yourself this: Is it a given that top prospects are going to commit to a league that is falling apart and a coach who is still not recovered from a life threatening illness? I would have to say no.

For a league that's falling apart, it sure hasn't hurt the other members from recruiting successfully.

Very, very disappointing start to the year. Didn't expect much but expected more then this.

This is shaping up to be a long season. I know they are young and talented....but wow....Detroit. Can't blame it on foul trouble. Just bad shooting.

When was the last time the starting PG of a BE didn't make a 3 pointer all season? I think it is a strong possibility this year. Nuri's 3s are not even close. We are a better team with him and Stith on the bench and Green running the show. 

 

Gift and the 4 freshmen, sounds like a 50's folk group.
