Seton Hall, Wed., Feb. 1, 8:30p, CBSSN

First of all putting Curbelo in the same sentence as Mullin is ridiculous . Mullin was a Coach . Complaining to Refs is part of the job . In my opinion and sorry , NC Johnnie again , Ponds got cold blooded Murder every time he went to the Basket . Posh does too and doesn’t get enough calls . Coaches should be upset with that treatment of a star player . Next , we are wearing ourselves out with the same old posts about the same old results nearly every game during the CMA era . And , if Anderson returns next year , it will be the same ugly , disorganized BB it has been for most of his time here . Will anyone want to see a Replay of this season ?

Did anyone read Zach B today?

“I just think we haven’t really come together and played at the level you gotta play at consistently,” Anderson said. “We just haven’t played the type of basketball I want us to play, to put it bluntly.” ===

So you recruited the whole team and had them together for months and they still aren't together?

If you needed any reason to can a guy he just said it...

Wusu has been the one of the few bright spots on this team. Many things to complain about before we get to Wusu.
100%. But I will say, if you plead for a review on a play in which you so clearly and obviously flopped, you are opening yourself up for some punishment 😆. That was embarrassing.

Wusu has his challenges especially judgment at times forcing things, but he seems a good teammate and can make some plays. He really would be back bench guy on most BE teams, but too often is relied on for prime minutes here. Recently the good outweighs the bad with him.

I agree with your assessment, but the good far outweighs the bad regarding Storr, and Amase's dig at him was unwarranted. Storr's future is much brighter than Wusu's

Never considered Mase’s comments in my post Al & agree on Storr’s future eclipsing Dylan

Cragg needs to go too. Both should be gone yesterday.
Cragg is fine. Anderson is gone. It's another "wait till next year". Every year I go into the season with high hopes and every year I am disappointed by the middles of the Big East season. It's getting old (like me!)

Taped the game and wanted to re-watch the Curbelo stuff to see what was captured on TV. Spoiler alert, as bad as it looked on TV, it was even worse.

First of all, and I only watched the few minutes around the technical today (I can only take so much) but earlier in the game Curbelo came off the court during a media timeout screaming and gesturing wildly at Anderson, walking all the way at him and eventually getting in his face. Anderson "responded" by leaving him in the game. I'm assuming that didn't show up on the broadcast?

Then, after the ejection, and this is what I watched this morning, he wouldn't leave the arena and was totally out of control. They showed the start of that on TV, but it went on for the entire timeout/review that went on. At one point he was going at it with some fans in the stands and I really thought he was going to go into the stands. Drissa had to basically run over and force him out of the arena.

He just has no ability to control himself, this is now two ejections. I don't know if any coach can handle him, but this coach can't.

he shouldn't gotten the 1st first technical but he should gotten 1 earlier for throwing the basketball at the seton hall player earlier.

Can anyone really be surprised by any of this? Another loss was as predictable as the sun coming up. Not a 100% as in hey you never know but… This ”team” is an undisciplined mess.

I am starting to believe that the Anderson plan was simply to roll the ball out on the Court and let the guys “play”. Our team plays like they are at a scrimmage game. Wild passes (cross court), zero shot selection, turnovers galore. Box out? Rebounds? What’s that? Defense? LOL.

Finally, Curbelo has become an embarrassment and hopefully this is the end of the road.
So many issues. Why, year after year can’t we find some basketball players? Just imagine if the kid from G’Town sinks that wide open look on Sunday. This board would be in flames.

One question. I had during the game--
How did Holloway not get warned or T'd for being on the court and so far off the bench during play in last night's game?

Mase was more a dig at me lol
But those who still haven’t embraced the Storr experience ….you don’t deserve nice things and for the most part being a fan of this program you have been awarded appropriately

You forgot Wusu with his lazy passes, out of control drives, and losing track of his man on defense.
Anderson is grasping at straws with his lineups that still includes playing Posh, Curbelo and Wusu together at times. It's February and he still has a backcourt that can't run an offense. That includes Posh.
The practices must be either soft walk thrus or, like during games, the players aren't paying much attention to him.
The defense is atrocious and the offense is disorganized.
That is all on these coaches.
Last night was the end of the ride for these guys imo.
The Seton Hall game at home was a MUST WIN!
THE FAT LADY HAS SUNG.
THE CANARY IS DEAD.

from my seat, I actually thought curbelo was trying to thread the needle in throwing the ball to the ref who was behind and slightly to the side of ndefo (i think it was him). He missed and hit the player on the side. but I did not have the benefit of tv replay.

I noticed that both coaches were way onto the court multiple times last night.

What I don’t get is , how did Anderson ever accumulate the number of Wins he has ? I mean , he must have Coached the same way at Tulsa , Missouri and Arkansas . The only thing I can think of is he must have gotten high 4 and 5 star players . Capable of playing this one on one type of game . And , having the individual skills to play Winning basketball regardless of who the Coach was . Although the fans at Arkansas did say he was puzzling for a lot of his time there .

Family or close friend I surmise. We've had them on this board with all the past coaches
I think in Making Plays' case, he's just a huge Arkansas fan and loved CMA. Similar to Craig, the UCLA fan who came aboard for the Lavin years before his unfortunate passing.

There is another poster who's been missing a while who I'm 100 percent sure is related to CMA though.

I'd also be remiss in not mentioning Q in Yonkers, who was an awful poster and related to Norm or Fred. Argued with him that he'd never post again when they were fired. He argued that he would, then never showed up again.
