I am not one to advocate firings and not mid season. Having said that CMA's quotes from the presser after the game are not helping him. "That's on me" only goes so far. I feel bad he is a good man and works at his job. I don't see a bright future and I am a cockeyed optimist. Holloway looks like the real deal as far as coaches go, I know it is early.
It's interesting. When Paul revamped the site within the past year, it brought back all of the old PMs. So I looked back and I actually had threatening messages from that guy. This was back in 2009 and I have no recollection but it does line up with the Norm era. I definitely wanted Norm out bad at that point lol.
Mike says he was a good guy, but Mike says the same things about me so you gotta question his judgement. lol. I remember him being more like you're describing.

CMA is a good guy and definitely isn’t lazy but I will stop very short of feeling bad for a guy getting paid multi millions of $ per year and will get another few mil once he’s fired for failing at his job
During Holloway’s March through the NCA Tourney last year I suggested to a friend wired into the Syracuse University program that SU would have been wise to usher Boeheim out and hire Holloway to which he laughed.
Holloway would have been a better hire as head coach than newbies Autry or McNamara, each without any head coaching experience.

The posts back in the Norm error...especially on Big East Boards got way out of hand. Like X rated and hostile. I remember KOB reminding a poster he was "kinda big". I met him a couple of times...once when Maven got an event together...and another when Patrick Grady financed out of his pocket a big get-together at a popular bar in mid-town. I forget which. KOB was/is a good guy.
The BEB party was Pat's event. Maven was there too with Lenn Robbins and KOB was there. BEB was the absolute wild west of the internet but that was an awesome party

I've literally had probably 1000 Pisco Sours over the last 18 or now maybe 19 years with Nathalie ( Ironically today is our 1 year wedding anniversary ) that's why we are in Peru. After some of the food I've eaten traveling over the years Egg Whites are like water to me
