Seton Hall (UBS), Sun., Feb. 18, 5p, FS-1

I find that watching/participating in the live game thread is damaging to my mental health. With all the ebbs and flows, ups and downs etc. it’s better to take Panther’s advice and wait for the game’s conclusion before you post and perhaps have to take back something said in the heat of the moment. 😂👍
Can you say that a little slower....(or speak English)! :)

I think everyone got the point.

Should beat the Hall imo, but having hard time thinking they win on road v Butler or v Creighton here, but one game at a time I guess.
We SHOULD beat the Hall? Outside of blind homerism, what is this based on? The Hall beat us by 15 points. Hall has beaten the #1 and the #4 team in the country etc. And if we are being honest, they are better coached than we are.

Outside of Depaul, there is not 1 team in the Big East we SHOULD beat. We are a bad basketball team.

Actually I think that Holloway, hands down, is this year’s Big East Coach of the Year and there’s no one even close.

We are more talented and at home. I wouldn't go anywhere near placing a wager on this game lol, but look at our schedule. We have held serve at home all conference play against the teams outside the top 25.

Now whether this will even feel like a home game is a whole other question lol

I think this is too harsh an assessment. Yes, the Hall has had a very nice (unexpectedly successful) season thus far. But, that game was an outlier for us so far this year. We have been excruciatingly competitive in most games. They are closer to us than they are to UCONN. This should be a competitive game and we have more to play for. So, if we show up, we CAN (not necessarily should) win. Let the winning streak commence! I think if we win, we could close out the season, and some chance to dance. If not, it could end badly. Holloway has done a terrific job.

I was going to say. "Is UBS really a home game"?

I also include Zuby. Conway is a dog? Conway just starting getting playing time past 2 games. Traore rarely plays. But i agree with ledlum Jenkins and zuby.
Zuby was an egregious oversight.

I'm not a fan of Conway but you can't knock the hustle. He's always giving it 100%

We have won I think one time each at Seton Hall , at Xaiver , and at Creighton in the last 11 years ? Not so surprising to lose on the road to these teams even with year one Rick, hopefully it changes in the future .

We lose to Seton hall on Sunday and the season is over . Besides all the New York , and Jersey kids on their roster bringing family friends there shouldn’t be many Seton Hall fans there . People from New Jersey rarely like traveling into LI , and vice versa unless they have too .

If you have been watching these games, the season is over. We are too limited and do not have enough talent on this team.

I was thinking of going to to the game from Jersey but an hour and 30 plus traffic? Still tempted but I have a 65 inch screen tv at home and don't have to drive over 3 hours.....

Luis has talent but his head is "Hero Ball". He needs to look to see if he can give someone else a better shot.
he plays "hero ball" because only he and Jenkins feel comfortable looking for key baskets. Brady looked like he could have been a go-to scorer for a while, but he fell back in (or out of) the rotation. With not enough spacing on the floor, Soriano often does not get the ball in good enough position to look for a key shot. And Dingle never developed into the 15-18ppg, lights-out shooter we thought he'd be. So I don't necessarily fault Luis for some of his hero ball. Besides, we do not necessarily know how much of a green light CRP is giving him to look for his shot.
