I have no idea how the SJU selection process works but it is very clear it is a total failure. After thirty years of incompetence it is time to change the procedure. As obvious as it is that Anderson is not the man for the job it is more obvious that SJU is incapable of raising the sinking ship.
Perhaps an outside search firm should be hired to make a recommendation but anything but the old guard. Not only do we have a coach who is way over his head in the big east but he will walk out with an extension. You can’t make this up.

Agree with this. Obviously Cragg is not capable of Conducting the search and is lacking as a negotiator. But in the end it will all come down to father Shanley. Hopefully he has the foresight to understand the value of a winning program to a university and makes the necessary investment.
But finding a good coach is not where it ends, he must find a person who is capable of securing NIL support from the Metro area. A position that may be just as important as a new coaching hire.

But again, whatever they have done in the past is not working and certainly an outside search firm would be an upgrade.

My optimism hopes that this is the only blowout performance they'll have this year, with somehow bouncing back against Marquette and at providence to get to 3-3. That said, I'm not really looking forward to actually being at the next 2 games.

Hoping for the same and will be there…bad games happen but 3 stinkers in a row shouldn’t be happening in year 4…and kids look lost and about to quit

Year 4 of cma's at SJU, which is his most talented team, and they really look like his worth team here.

How can Posh look so lost? I can't blame it all on Curbelo. Can anyone offer some thoughts other than the CMA can't coach?

I think we got by on effort in the 1st 2 seasons. Unfortunately, everyone else adapted.

Agree, Marks been out of the loop too long. He has no star power as todays kids may not even know him. And the game has changed significantly since he’s been involved in college hoops.
