Rysheed Jordan

I noticed today that in the last 4 years the #22 recruit according to ESPN has coincidentally been a point guard each year.

2013 Rhysheed Jordan
2012 Marcus Paige
2011 Nick Johnson
2010 Kendall Marshall

Not bad company at all. Sheed is a different type of guard than the other 3, but he produced like Marshall did and Johnson did this past year, Id sign up for that.
And who knows, his ceiling could be even higher

Did they really list nick Johnson as a point guard?

No, my mistake. Good call Mase. They had him at sg.
He's a combo though.
Its interesting company though. You think Sheed turns out better than the other 3?

I believe I read that Miller intends on using Johnson as next year's point guard.

I say better than Johnson and Paige. Marshall is tough, passing is my thing so im kind of partial to him, dont think Jordan will be that type of passer but will certainly score better than him. It really just comes down to preference.

Does anyone know if his allstar game will be televised or on the net this weekend?

The game is being televised locally by WDRB in Louisville. They tell me it will be streamed live at 7pm (WDRB.com)

Sheed played very unselfishly. Could've scored more if he wanted to but opted to give it up to his bigs which is a good sign. Outside shot was off but it looked like nerves.

Would've like to have seen him n the court with Jarell Martin.

Must suck being a teammate of a gunner like Frankamp.

Frazier was puttin up everything as well.

Was Frankamp any good? I have a friend who's a KU fan and is excited about this kid.

Yes he is. Great 3 point shooter.

But he has no conscious and isn't athletic at all. He'll do well if he has a big man in the post who may command a double team.

I agree. But Frazier really impressed me. I didn't think he was that consistent of a 3 point shooter.

Larry Brown's got a good one.

To follow up on Marshall, he may have been one of the best college passers I've ever seen

I doubt his game will ever really translate to the pros, but the kid could really set up the players around him

Lucky for him then that KU is one of those schools that never has trouble finding a highly ranked center.

I'm very surprised he chose not to play in the Mary Kline game. It's played in Philly.

Probably just wants to get away to different states.

Did he choose not to or was he not invited?

I don't know.

One would have to assume that he chose not to. They're all about raising money and what better than to have arguably the best player in the city showcasing in that event?

Was told by person in know his family declined, but he was definitely invited.
