Rysheed Jordan

Jordan is very, much a capable passer. He has to score for his HS team (and, he's more than capable of doing so), which is partly the reason he puts up the numbers.

His shooting stroke has improved, based on what scouts were saying about him a season ago. He's someone that will keep the defense honest.

Is he a better penetrator than Branch? Not sure how to answer that question at the moment. But he can get into the lane, and explode to the hoop. He uses his body well, and has excellent, body control.

“He’s a great athlete. In the past sometimes he’s tried to make everything showtime. For Vaux he has to score a lot of points. He had 45 in the city final against Imhotep. He can really score. He’s not a great shooter, he’s a good shooter. He’s an explosive athlete going to the basket. He has great athletic ability and has a good skill set.

Top 5 team in the nation???? Really???? With a pg freshman? Expectations are pretty reasonable for this team??? Even if he chooses SJU.

Don't know how this kid will compete in div 1 basketball? Look at Jamal branch.. Many posters had him as the 2nd coming.. Not so much..

I would be fine with that. Seems like an amazing season and will put St. John's back in the limelight.

That's not Rysheed's twitter. Not saying he couldn't have talked to via phone or text message, but I'd wait until its really coming out of Sheeds mouth.
