I think it's because this kid is an important piece to this team for this coming season. He is the most important next step.

Thank you SS&G! Wasn't as heralded as Coach K's 1000th win but what can we do. I'm sure Chris laid out his vision and it probably entailed one great year of basketball and showing on a consistent basis that Rysheed can play at the next level. Whether or not RJ bought in remains to be seen
 
I think it is very possible Jordan does not know what he is going to do yet.

Based off of what I have heard about his practice attendance, maybe he forgets all about declare date and is forced to come back

I don't think a decision has been made one way or the other. If he had made a decision, I would think it would have been announced by now. If the decision was he was leaving, I would think at least in his case, he would have gone out and gotten an agent and a trainer so he could start working out in preparation for team-workouts.
 
In the accompanying article with the video of Mullin on Boomer & Carton, there was mention that the two best returning players had decided to stay on the team. Just saying.
 
It is hard to see how with all that's gone on it the past week that either one would be less inclined to stay, no???

If a kid wants to work tirelessly and earn his spot and doesn't expect it to be handed to him, yes, they should want to play for this program.

Maybe that's because coach K was the first to do it in D1 history while as for your posting...not so much. ;) :)

I wouldn't read too much in it. It could mean, ASAP or it could mean after the completion of next season.
