me too, i think if he was coming back, he would of said "I can't wait to learn from a legend"...something along those lines.....same for Obekpa....think they are both gone. I hope not, but if so, lets move on already.

My feeling is that if they want to go, say thank you and let them. I'd like to see Coach M put together a team of "his" guys anyway.

I prefer having jordan return. Mullin will have enough time to assemble his guys. And a winning season with jordan makes it easier

Yes, but his old coach said he was lying.
 
Deadline to declare is in about two weeks.. Will be interesting to see what RJ decides

Neither Jordan nor Obekpa are gonna make it in the NBA without, at least, blowing up and having a huge year in college this year. Moe Harkless is the best player St. John's has had in a long time and I noticed he got 5 minutes with a bad Orlando team the other night. Jordan and Obekpa are nowhere near that talented.

Difficult decision for Jordan. If the family situation needs money asap, he would need to go to Europe and pull down maybe $75,000 or so. I think D-League would be a big step backwards. But there's a huge upside to staying and working with Mullin and staff. I think if he stays a year, the only trip to Europe he would take is to take a vacation during the NBA off season.
 
I think it is high time to stop listening to the idiots that tend to hang around these kids telling them crap that makes them think they are better than they really are. Come on Sheed, grow up. Get rid of these clowns in the peanut gallery. You are what you are, and just maybe with our new staff they can help you to grow into what you think you are already. Sometimes reality sucks, You're good, just not as good as your entourage would have you believe.

For me, I wish that kids would just do what is best for themselves and/or their family and not what is good for the crew and/or "advisors".

The problem is; many times these kids don't know whats best for them.

Edit: apparently not according to him on JJ. I should've known, I've watched nearly the whole series and things never work out.
 
Was there ever an explanation given for Jordan not attending Mullin's press conference? If he had a class, fine. But otherwise, it was a very bad harbinger of things to come IMO. Even Obekpa managed to show up in his disgraced state.

Obviously not on Mullin, but Jordan would be the only way we make the tourney next year. So that was the key "recruit" for this year.
