East, north, and south from what I know. Just use common sense, and if you're walking at night, then make sure you're in a good, looking spot that's well-lit and noticeable cops.

It's not much of a walking city. It's not very large. The discovery center is cool.

Where they built the basketball arena used to be the most sketchy part of Charlotte. Most of downtown is just office buildings. It is like downtown NYC it dies out after 5pm. I think hey built up around the Panthers stadium.

They built the arena after I left. They used to play out by the airport near where I used to work

I talked to Paul Sclafani @ the SJU Athletic Office today:

1. They have 125 places at the RW reception and as of 5pm had sold 100. I did not buy and he did not recommend showing up without a ticket... so we will pass on going to the Crowne Plaza

2. SJU has tickets available for $100 each in Section 115. I could be wrong but I think this is behind the bench. I plan on buying a pair of these tix tomorrow and selling the ones I bought in Section 231 (face value $71 each). PM me if interested, otherwise they are going on Stubhub.
