Someone made an excellent point on one of the threads here. buy the cheap seats and duke fans are going to leave after their game and it's going to be very easy to move down to better seats

I'm taking my son, he is 12 so I wanted to make sure I had good seats...If it was me and my friends I wouldn't care. Just got section 116 on Stubhub. I hope you get good seats too!

I've yet to purchase my tickets. I'm almost positive we'll be able to move down. They'll be enough empty seats for us to move down. I'm heading up with my 13 year old son and one of my best friends on Friday morning.

most likely can't. Wont get in till late afternoon and still have to get car and might be staying with friends so gotta see them for a little while.

Never been to charlotte Is there anywhere close to the arena to meet for post game drink ? Is the arena in the city or kind of away from it like the meadowlands is to nyc

Might do R&W but do not have tix.

Based on Google Maps, arena is downtown and there seems to be bunch of bars etc. a block or two north of there.

As, Tx mentioned, there are lots of bars and restaurants for several of us to meet up.

It's in the city. They built it after I left but there should be plenty nearby. It's two blocks from trade and tryon street which is BofAs headquarters.

Trust me, there are bad spots in Charlotte. There are bad spots in most cities.

Overall, it's a good city. Just be mindful where you're going (just like if you were anywhere else).
