I hate to imagine our results without him. Glad he had the shin splints taken care of as it certainly has made a difference in his current production versus last season. Hope he gets the 3-point production up as that is what the pro's are looking for.

RJ Luis diving on the floor muscling a bigger Dixon for the loose ball, was a monster move on his part. Floor burns galore.
Keep rebounding RJ, especially offensively to generate second chances, put backs & pile up opponents’ fouls. To me a key to help minimize thin guard group issues w Smith out.
Might just be me, but that wasn't even close to an amazing game by Luis. That was all grit and determination and hard work.
Luis might just have a 84 inch wingspin, plus he has tremendous hops. He is a quick jumper, meaning he not only gets to the right spot to rebound but launches quicker than opponents. The combi ation makes him lethal on the offensive glass where sometimes all you can do is foul him, which Nova did plenty.
Nova keyed on him and he didn't simply bust loose, he just pounded home 7baskets and 16 free throws.
I believe late in the 1st half only had maybe 1 total rebound, but literally left it all on the court in the second half.
Without a doubt a human highlight film but definitely brings a hard hat and lunch pail to work. You can stop the former (maybe) but he will still beat you with the latter.
As I wrote a few weeks earlier, on this team there may be a different star every game we win. Don't write off anyone.
Btw, I hope you guys who said we were 7 deep with a weak bench apologize to Mr. Prey and co.
Now let's keep it going. Lets get at least 13k for Georgetown and no letdowns.

Since I’m on the medical kick I have to say again what an amazing job from the surgeon to the trainers and therapists or whoever is on staff to Luis himself. This kid has some spring in his step!! What a difference after the surgery and rehab.
