He should stop negotiating against himself! At the end of the press conference last night, Rick said he’s a lock first draft choice and top ten player in the nation. Also said he’ll be a better pro than college player.
He also said he’s doesn’t know what else RJ can master at the college level. He should stop negotiating against himself!
Unless Pitino knows RJ is going to enter the draft, and already has plans to use his NIL money on someone else.He should stop negotiating against himself!
Rick has never met a mic he disliked, keeps one on his night table to Mrs. P’s chagrin. He should stop negotiating against himself!
Shh RickHe also said he’s doesn’t know what else RJ can master at the college level.
For every nba star rick produces he gets serious interest from 10 high level recruits and transfers. In Rick's term the old days of getting a getting a great player once every 4 years is over.He should stop negotiating against himself!
For now.Guys it was a joke
And SJJ needs a few players in the NBA desperately. For now.
Either way, if RJ plays himself into a bonafide first rounder, it means we’ve had an incredible year
Not necessarily. Many, many teams have first rounders and don't even dance. For now.

Poor RJ. Play him more than 27 minutes against Georgia and we win. Sitting a player with 2 early fouls for the rest of the half went out with underhand free throws. Anyone watch the Xavier game? Freemantle picked up 2 fouls in the first 3 minutes. Miller sat him for for a while, put him back in and he played 29 minutes in a close Xavier victory. That's what good coaches do.Not necessarily. HOW DARE YOU QUESTION CRP! Don't you know he won an NCAA tournament game 8 years ago!Poor RJ. Play him more than 27 minutes against Georgia and we win. One of the positives about NIL era is players like RJ could make more money money staying in college than they would on a 2-way or overseas. It gives fringe 2nd round draft prospects a chance to stay in college, get a degree, earn money, and mature another year to show case their talents to teams globally.Unless Pitino knows RJ is going to enter the draft, and already has plans to use his NIL money on someone else.
Hindsight. Considering RJ sat, didn't foul out and we lost - and Georgia fouled out 3 of their best and won...it wreaks. However, I don't blame Rick, the scheduling, or any of our under performing players for the loss. I blame the cosmos.Poor RJ. Play him more than 27 minutes against Georgia and we win.
