The new normal: players who love it at sju and who we love leaving early for greener pastures, even without the nba calling
After the Arkansas game how could he have returned here ?
There are more than a few undrafted guys playing in the NBA .
The new normal: players who love it at sju and who we love leaving early for greener pastures, even without the nba calling
Yea, it's sad that it took some of our fans time to recover from the tantrum they threw after the Arkansas game to come to that conclusion.RJ shall forever be remembered as the 2025 Big East Conference Player of the Year on a team that won the Conference championship by 3 games.
Pretty- Pretty impressive.
Well said SlyRJ ‘s statement is quite the closing comment on his time at St John’s .
Forget about his BB Abilities for a moment and absorb the heart felt feelings he committed to writing for us , fans and everyone in the St John’s community .
Few Players today give that sort of good bye to the their Schools . RJ did and threw no rocks at any Windows or People .
What can never be taken from him is his BE Player of the Year Award .. Our first in nearly 40 years .
Yes , he’s not Mullin or Berry and shouldn’t be compared to either Chris or Walter . Both , were College Players of the Year in 1985 and 86.
But , RJ’a place is forever in our Schools BB history is secure
Like others have commented ,,it’s unfortunate that many posters have taken their post season Criticism’s too far .
This team doesn’t accomplish what it did , without RJ and his contributions.
And , no he didn’t lose the Arkansas game by himself . Hanging that label on him is very unfair .
So , regardless of the next steps for him , he deserves our appreciation for what he did here .
Good Luck, RJ
Perfectly Stated!!!RJ shall forever be remembered as the 2025 Big East Conference Player of the Year on a team that won the Conference championship by 3 games.
Pretty- Pretty impressive.
