What RJ has done for St John’s and New York is truly amazing . What he is also doing for the Hispanic community is really special .

RJ is half Dominican half Ecuadorian . I am half Ecuadorian myself . Paul Massell(RIP)- the creator of this site , his wife is Ecuadorian and I had the pleasure of meeting Max Massell(Paul’s Son) who is proud of his heritage . To see RJ wearing those colors with pride on his sneakers truly makes me emotional .

He will be the first Ecuadorian in the NBA one day , but I really hope he comes back next year .
