Is it me or is a humbled Hurley getting more likeable by the day.

It’s basically a redemption story for both sides.
A tip of the hat to Father Shanley also. Right now the hiring of Pitino is a no doubter but when Father Shanley stuck his neck out and made the hire by convincing Pitino SJU was where he belonged that was not the case.
I’m sure many of the p yratenomowers at SJU were against the hiring and couldn’t stand the idea of Mike Repole getting back in good graces made it a more difficult decision for Father Shanley to make. I would bet they had a mid major coach in their sights. I hope that in addition to the raising of the men’s basketball fortunes Father Shanley sees increases in monetary support and applications.

Has Fr. Shanley been spotted at any recent home games?
I ask because recall reading a while back he might have had some health issues and didn't know if he was able to take in some of the great MSG atmosphere and W's.

Father Shanley attends every home game and I have seen him at away games
That doesn’t say much for Iona.
