I definitely don't think he's going anywhere, but I also really don't put stock into anything he says. He could literally leave at any time. But personally I feel blessed that we have him, and just enjoy the run.

Really do not like Mas as a sucessor for Pitino. He is constantly barking at the players when they are subbed out. He seems like such an angry man. Not the type of guy kids would flock to.

I see the opposite actually. His role is the good cop. Pitino is the bad cop. As is always giving advice and calming guys down.

Did you see any of the game he coached at Seton Hall last year when Pitino missed with Covid?

Very unfair. Not his team.

Great coaches get beat all the time with their own team.

It’s the only evidence we have of how he did coaching St. John’s. Couldn’t stop a 28-0 run.

Obviously SJU is mega fortunate that Rick landed in our laps. On the other hand, he is fortunate to wrap up his career at a BE program in the media center of the world. The amount of adulation he is receiving not only reflects his results and ability, but also a highly supportive fan base and community desperately seeking SJU relevance again. To me it truly is a win/win situation for both sides.
