But we didn’t have good March runs with any of those guys.Unfortunately we’ve lost players that did not get drafted. e.g. Ponds, Simon, Champagnie.

Two more and he catches up with the legendary Mike AndersonPlus with two more wins will continue his streak here of 2 consecutive .500 seasons, something that can't be underestimated
A poster did a nice job several months ago creating a chart of the players who will have to leave and who might turn pro resulting in how many players Pitino will need to fill the roster next year. Frankly I forgot the data included in that chart. As it stands now, does anyone have a pretty reasonable idea how many new players will be needed next year? Is Pitino way off on his estimate of 6 players? Just curious. He's up to 6 now?
St. John’s star RJ Luis likely to go pro after season: Rick Pitino
St. John’s fans should appreciate him while he’s here.nypost.com
"RJ is going to try to go pro,” Pitino said on Friday as St. John’s prepared to face Seton Hall Saturday night. “They’re all going to try to make it and move on. And that’s the nature of the business.”
Pitino was initially asked if it was possible that Deivon Smith could return next year, because he sat out a portion of last season as he waited for his eligibility to be approved as a multiple-time transfer."

I wonder if it’s more communicating to other schools than anything elseThis is the time of season everyone thinks they will go pro. I’m not too concerned. Let him test the process and get feedback.
