Nice that he no longer picks our head coaches.Yup, Capel is another moron
Funny thing, this supposed insult; coaches forever preach “it’s a 40 minute game, play hard for 40 minutes”. They will then use that mantra to justify committing fouls down double digits with a minute to go but will absolutely go ballistic when an opposing team scores with the shot clock off, which does nothing but change the final score, the same as your meaningless intentional foul, only seconds before.Well maybe if the head coach acted like an adult instead of a petulant child the whole thing would have been avoided.
I wouldn’t mind teams just playing to the final buzzer and stop the shot clock violation turnovers late in game. Sometimes end of bench guys or walkons are in the game and the crowd and fans would like to see them put up a shot and maybe score but their team just holds the ball or dribbles out the clock.Funny thing, this supposed insult; coaches forever preach “it’s a 40 minute game, play hard for 40 minutes”. You don’t want the team to score? Have your team play defense!!!!!

Rick Pitino says Kadary Richmond won’t be influenced by boos in return to Seton Hall: ‘He’s not gonna cry’

re: Kadary's jumper
Pitino promised to help Richmond re-make his awkward jump shot to help his NBA prospects, but the coach said Richmond has “refused” to change his form.
“We changed it in our workouts, but he won’t do it in the games,” Pitino said. “He just refuses to do it; he keeps reverting back. I show him on tape. There’s no hitch at all. It looks beautiful. I show it to him. He said, ‘Yeah, that looks great.’ And then he goes back to his old way.
“And there’s only one way to change a jump; you you got to spend hours upon hours after you leave. It’s just not something that’s going to change without hours upon hours upon hours of work. You see Steph Curry out there still working on his handle, still working on the shot, and he’s the greatest shooter in the history of the game. It takes a lot of work to change anything. You change your body, change your game, change your skill. Takes a lot of work.”
Saving it for March lolThe world college hoops is living in.His camp is probably marketing “Hitch”, a new marital readiness app & nixed staff’s shooting plan.
How is that even relevant at this time of year, this season should be the focus of both coach and players. And “after this season” should be exactly when that becomes a public topic of conversation.Zagoria noted
