Nice that he no longer picks our head coaches.
Funny thing, this supposed insult; coaches forever preach “it’s a 40 minute game, play hard for 40 minutes”. They will then use that mantra to justify committing fouls down double digits with a minute to go but will absolutely go ballistic when an opposing team scores with the shot clock off, which does nothing but change the final score, the same as your meaningless intentional foul, only seconds before.
You don’t want the team to score? Have your team play defense!!!!!
I wouldn’t mind teams just playing to the final buzzer and stop the shot clock violation turnovers late in game. Sometimes end of bench guys or walkons are in the game and the crowd and fans would like to see them put up a shot and maybe score but their team just holds the ball or dribbles out the clock.
