Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

Rationally, I'm very confident. The team looks like they're having fun, coach is having fun, the vibes are good. And with the draft being so loaded, I think coming back here may be the most pragmatic money decision for some as well.

But there's a certain randomness and sketchiness with the portal that makes me just not want to think about next year until we know who's on the roster. I really think our best "additions" would be the guys we retain. Hopefully we are in a position to just need one or two pieces
No doubt on your last point. Adding talent to a nice returning base hopefully is right formula.

To me key will be retaining Zuby, Simeon, Brady, Luis, Dunlop, Prey at a minimum and add other pieces. Still think would be wise not to ignore HS market for one or two pieces especially when looking to build a culture. Also would be great if Deivon gets another year here

I sense as noted above there will be some local solid players looking to return home after completing their freshman year.

Does Smith have another year or not?

I have been thinking about Jackson, since it has been over a year since one of NC’s recruits came here.

But Boogie would be a wonderful addition as well.
Was watching their second half at LSU last night. He single handed kept them in the game down the stretch, Shot it well from three
