I like it. UConn and Nova are the two guaranteed MSG sell-outs so probably not them. Big OOC opponents like Syracuse I don't think would agree to a H&H outside of MSG (or Arthur Ashe). That means Georgetown at CA may be most likely, especially since MSG attendance for that series has fallen off and we'll probably be heavy favorites (lowest odds of a spoiled bday lol).

Being invited to play at CA for Louie's 100th Birthday Party, should be considered an honor by any team. The BE should consider this a way to honor one of the co-founders who is still around and promote the heck out of this. One could imagine many former players coming back and numerous opposing coaches joining in. It is almost a celebration of College Basketball

One issue I see with this is it is a Sunday and final NFL week. While could do it on FS1; it is not the same as doing it on Fox national network

Really good call re: NFL. We should want the game on Fox. It would eliminate any tip between 12-6pm.

All joking aside, Danny Hurley has actually been very forthcoming about his mental health struggles. Seth Davis wrote a great article on Hurley that is well worth reading. Hate him as a rival basketball coach all you want BUT he has been extremely courageous in helping to break down the stigma around mental health.

I really respect Hurley. I love hating him as an opposing coach, but I actually do think he's very self-aware and a great leader of men.

Danny has publicly stated that he has anxiety and other issues. Really don't see the need to talk about putting a dress on him, smh. Last I looked, he won a National Championship last year. Nothing but respect for the job he has done resurrecting the UCONN program.

Act like a chick on the sideline whining and crying, chalk it all up to mental illness (there are meds for that), and get the refs on your side.

Don't even tell me that after his rant in the 2nd half, that there wasn't alot of bs calls against SJU. Why not keep calling a fair game after that, unless they felt sorry for Danny and helped him out.

Just how I feel.

Your post is misguided and juvenile on so many levels. What does act like a chick whining and crying mean? I have met the wives and girlfriends of more than a few posters on this board and have nothing but the utmost respect for them. Can't imagine them whining or crying because they are women, or to use your derogatory term, "chicks". My wife definitely does not cry and whine. She, like most women I know, can make her point clearly and succinctly.

As far as the refs are concerned, if they allowed Hurley to intimidate them, that is on the refs, not Hurley.
 
Nobody is better than stoking fan and media reaction between games, in off season, post game & mid week pressers than Pitino. He can shoot from the hip or throw out calculated “stuff” to antagonize, motivate or just to get people’s head spinning.

He must have been one pain in the ass growing up 😇
