Once upon a time his name was mentioned as a candidate for the job. Not sure how far things actually went, but I think he would have worked out here.
I've said it before, but still confused as to how fellow candidate Paul Hewitt was considered a star recruiter when on TV he comes across as having the personality of a wet sponge. Meanwhile, Seth never did land the kids I thought that a personality like his should have.

To be fair, I don't think many Gen Z'ers are growing up college basketball fans, and it doesn't help that Pitino has been in exile the last six or so years.
I think it will take winning, and making the tournament, to see a noticable difference between year 1 and year 2. They weren't alive for his first Final Four run with Louisville, let alone the Kentucky era.
