I only want to see one Red storm on Wall St today
Me too! My 401 k has turned into a 201k.I only want to see one Red storm on Wall St today
I am a finance guy . I have worked on Wall Street for 14 years , my office is on 40 Wall Street . This is indeed very true . There are many St John fans through out Wall Street . Even people that went to other schools that are huge sports fans always root for St. John’s .As I recall (and I am not a Finance guy) for some reason college BB (among many other sports) is VERY "B I G "on Wall Street with St. John's being the most loved program among the Wall St. crowd that I knew of. Guys most of whom didn't go to St. John's but grew up in and around NYC all love the JOHNNIES (not eh RedStorm name as much) WE Are NYC's TEAM. Finance is NYC's jam.
Going back to the beginnings of the BET when it moved to the Garden the suits from Wall Street were well represented.
Can someone confirm that SJU has more than its fair share of Wall Street I've heard that said many times.
(After 09/11-- I recall that SJU had a disproportionate number of victims because so many grads worked downtown (plus a bunch of FDNY too).
