Reading between the lines over my many years here, I think our insiders offer a great mix -- they are friendly with reporters, AAU and high school guys, other local insiders who may not post here, and/or some deeply buried moles -- but always got the feeling that like Panther, SJU79 knows literally everyone.
 
I’m a longtime fan posting for the first time. I signed up tonight because I cannot figure out who Pitinos targets actually are and I don’t want to read hundreds of pages to figure it out. Is there any place on the cite to get a list of who is confirmed for the 23-24 roster, and who is actually still a possibility?

FYI I grew up in Suffolk, and have many memories of watching SJU beating local schools at alumni hall (even attending exhibitions against marathon oil). My Dad attended in the early sixties and I remember many stories of him and his fraternity brothers eating sandwiches in alumni hall during the freshman games before Kevin lougherty and Leroy Ellis played for the varsity. He passed down his love of the School and cursed me into thinking the quality of the eighties (when I was a boy) would continue all my life.

I’ve been reading the board since you guys scooped Fran’s firing. Enjoy all your posts.

Mug's analysis on the 2023-24 roster thread is a nice summary. There may be other kids we aren't aware of, but I think what's he's compiled is the latest realistic info.

Next time you are out here from Cali and we all go to Novita we will get Panther to come. Or we will meet you out east for lobster rolls. Aside from being an awesome guy holy cow he has crazy long time stories and knows everyone

It is an insane train. But the heart wants what the heart wants. In this case decades of false hope.

And I live here for the schools. Gotta look out for my Oompa Loompas.
