FYI I grew up in Suffolk, and have many memories of watching SJU beating local schools at alumni hall (even attending exhibitions against marathon oil). My Dad attended in the early sixties and I remember many stories of him and his fraternity brothers eating sandwiches in alumni hall during the freshman games before Kevin lougherty and Leroy Ellis played for the varsity. He passed down his love of the School and cursed me into thinking the quality of the eighties (when I was a boy) would continue all my life.

Very similar to my story. Not an alum myself but parents were class of '68 and i basically grew up at alumni hall and msg in the 80s with family season tix welcome!
 
So I went to Trilly Donovan's Twitter account and the identifier pix is Billy Donovan. Is that public domain or is this really Billy?

I’ve also been a Doubting Thomas about Mgbako since I first saw St John’s was involved (and still think he goes to Kansas) but the only thing that keeps me from completely writing it off is that if I put myself in the shoes of Kansas fans the fact that I’m going up against a motivated Rick Pitino would at the very least make me nervous…

Liked the fact that Luis reached out to MM, indicates to me a connection there ,hopefully lobbying for us.

Same here! Eaten there many times , my daughter worked at Rhumb for a year or two. My wife knows the family that owns Bobbique who was first restaurant in there . Daughter lived in new apartments where old Dept store used to be.
My daughter also managed the restaurant on the River that has music outside, forget the name
