Yes he did, good call by EJ. And I said that I didn't think he would be forced out. Hope he wasn't.Damn Ejoyce just posted here yesterday or today he thought this might be possibility

No coincidences in recruitingYes he did, good call by EJ. And I said that I didn't think he would be forced out. Hope he wasn't.
You think he’s gonna play sf alongside two bigs?
I want to believe that he read the writing on the wall that he would be used sparingly and decided to leave. That's what I want to believe. No coincidences in recruiting
Too sensible MonteI want to believe that he read the writing on the wall that he would be used sparingly and decided to leave. That's what I want to believe.
Really wondering if Pitino initially thought he could make something of Keita but realized it was just too hard of a road, or whether it was known from the start but both parties agreed to work on game while there were only three kids on campus. (Not sure a coach even does that second one, but Keita was a good kid and there were only three total at practice for quite a while.)Feel like he would have been gone sooner but perhaps Pitino sees he needs to put that scholarship to use on someone else
Perhaps that is very well what happened. Not sure how much burn he would have been expecting to get this year regardless even when it was only him, Joel, and Drissa on the roster.I want to believe that he read the writing on the wall that he would be used sparingly and decided to leave. Hasn't he still been hurt though? I'm not even sure what's been going on with his injury and if he's been able to practice yetReally wondering if Pitino initially thought he could make something of Keita but realized it was just too hard of a road, or whether it was known from the start but both parties agreed to work on game while there were only three kids on campus. If staff wants to not get locked out of LuHi gym, any decision Traore comes to in next several years needs to be 100 percent his own.Over/under on Traore too for the European mystery recruit?lol
Like I said, it’s going to get real crowded for Drissa too. If he’s ok with that then I am as well, but more forwards are coming to this roster.Perhaps that is very well what happened. Not sure how much burn he would have been expecting to get this year regardless even when it was only him, Joel, and Drissa on the roster
Good point. Posters noted him standing in background of the other two being worked out by Pitino. Don't remember pics of him on court.Hasn't he still been hurt though? I'm not even sure what's been going on with his injury and if he's been able to practice yet
I thought Steere came from NC State

Yeah, I didn't want to speculate on "who" but Keita or Conway just didn't make sense anymore if Luis was still of interest to us (which he 100% should be)I’m just guessing, but I think Pitino expected the two spots at the end of the roster likely wouldn’t matter this much. I’m sure we all thought that two weeks ago. But now keeping Keita means missing out on a kid like Luis or sacrificing depth at key positions.
Ya think?! I'm teasing. IMO, you're probably talking about a top 2 Big East conference team and potentially Big East favorite if we end the '23 recruiting cycle with Dingle, Luis, and Mgbako. This could be a great weekend
