Rick’s Targets

Mase we both know if this roster was compiled by pretty much any other coach this site would resemble the scene in the Movie Airplane when they tell the passengers they ran out of coffee.

In previous years, we'd be using the scene from the first "Airplane!" (probably my favorite movie of all-time, BTW) where Leslie Nielsen says "there's no reason to panic" while his nose is growing larger the whole time.

Since I'm lurking on twitter too much during this recruitment cycle, I'm guessing one of them is Massoud to Georgetown (Trilly scoop). But idk the second one.

I forgot his name but there is a kid that just listed his Top 3 all BE schools so maybe him.

I put Airplane on for my 10 year old (Possible not age appropriate but funny is funny) and he was loving it.

Imagine they tried to make this movie now. Just wouldn't happen. It's sad.

I'm also going to through on the Three Amigos for him this weekend. Another classic!

Actually think 2nd one is better
Both great and age surprisingly well

In some order:
Caddyshack
Airplane1
Airplane 2
Animal House
Vacation
80’s comedy Mount Rushmore

Based on what Pitino said I think that’s the thought process. If he can get another combo guard that can play 2 but handle the 1 at times (perhaps Cruz develops there too), and you get a 4/5 or 5/4 type, you can add another wing as your third if you think the talent is too good to pass up.

One of my favorite college basketball teams was the 1989 Illinois team that went to the final four had 5 starters between 6-5 and 6-8.
Maybe it is because I was (and am) 5’9” but IMO, height is the 3rd most overrated stat in basketball behind blocked shots and steals.
