Definitely very happy with this one not so much for what Brady can do for us next year, but for how he can develop.

More importantly, it reflects that even if we are at a significant disadvantage on the NIL front, Pitino’s reputation and charisma can attract top talent under the right circumstances. I was afraid that might not be the case. It should only get easier to attract top talent if we win.

I thought yesterday’s pickup was solid and may have a more immediate impact, but this one excites me more for the reasons I explained.

If Dingle is next, then I think the roster is just as good (maybe a but better because of the flexibility and various strengths of each player) as last year’s group.

Couple that with a major jump in coaching, and we may get to selection Sunday next year with hope.

I disagree - a Dingle additional makes us light years ahead of last year's team IMO.

Exactly! There's plenty of time to finalize the roster, but some folks want the roster completed on their time.

Dunlap's final 5 - St. John's, UNC, Villanova, Nebraska, Penn State

These are high-major programs that we've beaten out. Pitino hasn't lost his fastball.

Love the positive momentum! I was getting a bit nervous for this cycle, but Pitino has signed most of our best players towards the end. I think we can now say next year will at least be competitive and should be in the mix for a Tournament berth or NIT at a minimum (something we haven't been to since Lavin- with just the one First Four appearence between our last two coaches). Would obviously be great to land a top player or two to put an exclamation point on this class, but I'm already excited for next year.

Wow, that’s so cool! Definitely seem to be attracting kids who are willing to put in the work. Love the teams we beat out for this kid.

It is worth 5 to 6 extra wins a year.
