I am curious why there seems to be a strong thought here about Dingle and SJU? What is the link between SJU and Dingle? Have we reached out to him? Has he commented about us? Do any of the SJU staff have a relationship with him? I realize he was the Ivy League player of the year and the second leading scorer in the nation but what is the hook that puts him as a recruit for here other than that he was born in Valley Stream?
His father Dana Dingle was a four year player at UMass under Calipari and the Kentucky site has commented that he might be a Calipari target, also I see that both Indiana and Washington have reached out to him and he has said he will explore the NBA draft and G League options. Beyond that all I can find is speculation.

Kid lives in Valley Stream his father runs NY Lihgtning and we have Rick Freaking Pitino and he'b be starting day 1
And, at the risk of getting prematurely excited, if Mgbako were to join him you could pitch the unprecedented attention that a successful sju team year one under pitino could generate.
Now that Pitino is our coach, Calipari should be treated like George Carlin added an eighth dirty word we cannot say on TV.

1. At my age getting prematurely excited is as good as it gets.
2. You forget to add that Pitino could pitch some of the members of this forum that he still knows a thing or two about college basketball.
