Once you get over the disappointment of who left and who is not coming, that is as realistic an outlook as I have seen. I can get on board with that.

Probably is as is every player in the portal with whoever they're visiting. Wonder if Thomasson is using Pitino's James Harden comparison as a leverage point.

Dangerous game to play for players too though as it's a strategy that can easily backfire. It's a big game of musical chairs and eventually somebody is going to be left without a seat

We were speculating as early as last week that his spot would be filled if he waited a week. How things change so quickly here. lol

Some of us expected Pitino to make a major splash upon his arrival. I know I did. We've had a number of outstanding players visit...then leave without signing. Maybe NIL is the reason. I don't know. I know legends like Boeheim, Coach K, and others looked at the landscape and left. Maybe Pitino is behind the curve. It might be time to swallow his pride and go after recruits who had signed with us...and some of the, dare I say, players who are still around.

Don't be hating on me. I've followed this team passionately since Sonny Dove and I were freshmen. My doctor tells me not to buy green bananas so forget the patience argument. We have some players still around who can get us to the dance. Who we have now won't.

I’m probably a year younger than you as I was a Freshman at the School when Sonny and the McKintyres won the 1965 NIT . I was there too , in the Old Garden in Coach Lapchick’s last game .

Your opinion is valid as your opinion . But , I see it another way .

I believe that Alleyne and Jenkins and possibly Thomasonn , will be terrific guards . Better than we had last Season .

Second, I'm about your age and I just had a banana this morning that I bought slightly green a couple of days ago. Meaning, alway have hope that tomorrow will come and it will be a brighter day!

Once more, Rick Pitino is the coach and not you, me, sjc88, mjmaherjr, Boo, SSG, Fizzy, Otis, Knight etc. There's a reason for that. We're not as knowledgeable nor do we have the many years of experience that he has.

Let's talk in December when BE play begins.
