Thanks for the “update” Jon
I suppose he doesn't read this board. Thanks for the “update” Jon
Someone should ask him if he’s heard anything about LeRon Ellis? Thanks for the “update” Jon
I know some posters disagree, but I think Noah will be a key piece to Rick's first Johnnies team. Thanks for the “update” Jon
Moreso that him dropping a list like that now confirms that no commitment announcement is imminentThanks for the “update” Jon
Once you get over the disappointment of who left and who is not coming, that is as realistic an outlook as I have seen. I can get on board with that.Nobody big is coming this year. If that’s not completely obvious to everyone then they are drinking too much kool aid or just aren’t that great with pattern recognition.
We’ll have a bizarrely experienced group led by arguably the greatest coach in the last 50 years. That might be enough to make things fun and win 19 games or so while they line up stuff to get better recruits next year.
It was yellowingRothstein deleted the Thomasson top 5 tweet
Probably is as is every player in the portal with whoever they're visiting. Wonder if Thomasson is using Pitino's James Harden comparison as a leverage point.Since I predicted Thomasson would already be taking classes here a week ago, I wonder if he is squeezing us?
We were speculating as early as last week that his spot would be filled if he waited a week. How things change so quickly here. lolProbably is as is every player in the portal with whoever they're visiting. Wonder if Thomasson is using Pitino's James Harden comparison as a leverage point.
Dangerous game to play for players too though as it's a strategy that can easily backfire. It's a big game of musical chairs and eventually somebody is going to be left without a seat
Jeff Capel gonna screw us againSince I predicted Thomasson would already be taking classes here a week ago, I wonder if he is squeezing us?
Posh and Wusu to Butler announced on WFAN!Jeff Capel gonna screw us again
I’m probably a year younger than you as I was a Freshman at the School when Sonny and the McKintyres won the 1965 NIT . I was there too , in the Old Garden in Coach Lapchick’s last game .Decent roster...competitive team. That'll get us out of the NCAA picture next year, for sure. I'm glad Rick is giving mid-major players a chance, but anyone who follows baseball can tell you someone who hits .325 in AAA ball doesn't necessarily project to .325 in the majors.
Some of us expected Pitino to make a major splash upon his arrival. I know I did. We've had a number of outstanding players visit...then leave without signing. Maybe NIL is the reason. I don't know. I know legends like Boeheim, Coach K, and others looked at the landscape and left. Maybe Pitino is behind the curve. It might be time to swallow his pride and go after recruits who had signed with us...and some of the, dare I say, players who are still around.
Don't be hating on me. I've followed this team passionately since Sonny Dove and I were freshmen. My doctor tells me not to buy green bananas so forget the patience argument. We have some players still around who can get us to the dance. Who we have now won't.
Boy oh boy Bodkin. You really are going to be surprised when you see me sitting on the bench next season! I’m bringing MJ, Boo, Guinness and the rest of the boys!I agree to disagree with you.
First, many marginal minor leaguers come to the bigs and blown the doors off of everything!
Second, I'm about your age and I just had a banana this morning that I bought slightly green a couple of days ago. Meaning, alway have hope that tomorrow will come and it will be a brighter day!
Once more, Rick Pitino is the coach and not you, me, sjc88, mjmaherjr, Boo, SSG, Fizzy, Otis, Knight etc. There's a reason for that. We're not as knowledgeable nor do we have the many years of experience that he has.
Let's talk in December when BE play begins.
Kranmars, How's that for paragraphs?
