Rasheem Dunn Waiver Denied (APPEAL WON)
10 working days! Why? I'm sure they'll use every last day.
They'll have until the 20th if the clock starts tomorrow. So he'll miss five games, and then we need to hope for quick resolution before ASU on the 23rd. Total bullshit.

CSU probably wants a game or two.

Cragg imo remained level headed with this approach rather than going straight to appeal or litigation. The ten day period will expire soon, so we’ll know where we stand with initial effort. Hopefully it is resolved and formal appeal avoided. Actually it would be once less headache in that event.

In addition if he does not win the appeal, we can be sure it was because Cleveland State AD is being vindictive.

I just hope for Rasheem's sake waiver gets approved in time for him to play the better part of the year. It's a little troubling to me that NCAA needs more info from C. State to approve this one. It's not like it's a hardship waiver. What do they expect them to say other than perhaps that he complied with all team/school rules while there? Why should it matter if they approve of him transferring in a situation like this? I just have limited confidence in NCAA doing the right thing here. Hoping for the best.

Say if the NCAA got it wednesday, that's mean day 10 would be next Tuesday (that takes care of Mercer, c conn st, and New Hampshire), if csu still says no, then we appeal, is that another 10 busiiness day?
If so, then day 10 would be Nov 26 (that takes care of Vermont, Columbia, AZ St., UMass/UVA.
That's 7 games he'd miss. Then we'd sue the ncaa?
Why even appeal? I'd just say that you might as well skip the appeal process and just sue.

Why former school has any say in decision is just wrong. What is this, indentured servitude?

I don't know if this can actually happen, but we all know the ncaa favorites are the p5 conferences.
The B.E. and mid major conferences get screwed it seems most of the time by the ncaa.

Could all the none p5 conferences all come together for a class-action suit against the ncaa?
I'd love to destroy the ncaa.
This is almost making me not want to bother watching college hoops anymore
It’s tough, I am pretty much with you. Like I posted, I watched the Hall for less than 5 minutes watching the referees more than the players and said the hell with it.

I think we will probably have Dunn here soon. I still think we should push for Steere as well. Never give up.

As Mr. Wonderful would say, "Sue them into the Stone Age". That's the only language the NCAA understands.

What did you expect? He was more than likely bombarded with calls, emails, tweets, etc... from our fans telling him how much he sucked. Why should we expect him to be cooperative with anything going forward in regards to us. Our fans went out of their way to make this guy look bad (justified or not). At this point, if I were him, I would probably try to to screw us over too.

Well I’d have hoped he’d feel bad and do the right thing to clear his name a bit maybe. He certainly has a choice here. It’s the fanatic bombarding him because of his initial move to screw the kid. He has nothing to gain by failing to do the right thing here. Let’s see if he does.

Glad to see Cleveland St get whacked in it's opener, 85-50 at Minnesota
Hope they don't win a single game this season

He couldn’t screw us over if the NCAA did the right thing here and not let a kid lose 2 yrs which is unthinkable after a coach bolts They(NCAA) should change and do what’s right for the student
What is it going to take the change the NCAA

They got his name wrong. Scott Garrett not Garnett. He's probably surprised things blew up so quickly after we learned it was him who refused to let Dunn play.

Cleveland St. trounced by 35 points by Minnesota. Nebraska double digit loser to UC-Irvine.
