@Providence, Sat. Mar. 3, 12 NOON, FOX SN (YES?), 570AM

Good effort. Kids did a good job considering we were playing with 5 scholarship players.
It’s obvious Trimble is in Mullins dog house. Too bad today kids sit when they have a hangnail. Today’s players are so soft.

With 1.4 seconds remaining and going the length of the floor down by 4.... I doubt it. It still would've been a long trey, and Providence would've allowed him to shoot the ball being they were up by 4.
After seeing the end of Virginia vs Louisville, nothing is impossible.
Yeah, maybe.... But totally, different scenario and circumstances. I just felt Providence would've walked off the floor and let 'em have the shot.

We'd play Xavier. We're in the 8/9 game. Xavier is the #1 seed.

Villanova will play that 7/10 winner.

I am wrong we play the one seed Xavier. I believe this is a better match up for us even with the short turnaround. Of course we would need to be Georgetown first.

Wrong. We win the tiebreaker for 9th over Depaul, based on strength of victory (Nova game), so if we win, it's Xavier at noon on Thursday. Nova plays the winner of Depaul vs. the 7 seed.

Was told Bryan Trimble Jr. was available. It was a coach's decision. #sjubb

Here's what someone said, per attending the game.... Sounded like Trimble was pissed for being yanked.

I was at the game and after Trimble got pulled in the first half 45 seconds later Coach told him to go back in and Trimble refused to go in. On the other side Justin Cole came in the 2 half and played a heck of a game on defense for them. #sjubb

.... if true, with Trimble refusing to reenter the game after Mullin directed him makes it likely that Trimblw will be a transfer this year.

Oh-oh, if true. Where have we seen that before (also against Providence I believe)?

Game ended and all I could thing of is I hope SJU never plays a game so short handed again. I hope Ponds day to day injury is not similar to LoVetts and if we can beat Geo and Ponds and Yakme can play vs Xav perhaps the quick turnaround can be overcome.
Right now the team is playing its best defense and with a healthy Ponds at MSG who knows?

Simon pulled off a strange double double. Thirteen points and Ten turnovers. Also had Nine assists, six rebounds and four steals. He had a lot to do out there today and like everyone battled all game.

IF Trimble did refuse to go in the game, I would encourage him to transfer. Not conducive to the culture we are trying to build.

It's hard to fathom how it escalated to this point so quickly. Trimble seemed to be progressing nicely this year and didn't show any negative signs. Going to assume it's a poor judgement on his part and a one time thing until I hear otherwise.

Plus, this is coming from someone who said he was at the game. Didn't tell you where he was, though. If he was two rows behind the bench, that's one thing. If he was up in the rafters, then he's speculating (even if he is correct), most likely going on hand and facial expressions.

Gonna give Trimble the benefit of the dought, and assume he was hurt.
