Providence Game Thread

early in the season I posted and received some snide remark about "nice first post" equating posting regularly with insight I suppose,
that i was prepared for some exciting wins, some frustrating losses and wait for the NIT bid. Not at all pleased that it turned out that way. so as a StJ fan for over 30 years and former STL athlete.... i guess it's nice 2nd post. we really are a mid major....sorry.

Not Lavins fault........this team’s individual egos are bigger than their heads and are not as good as they think they are. Now they can focus on improving their game and attitude for next year.

This is Lavin's team.

Lavin recruited each of the players on the roster.

Lavin oversaw their conditioning.

Lavin has had the opportunity to counsel them and create a positive mind set.

Lavin has coached each of the players in practice for 1,2, or 3 seasons.

Lavin has coached the team during games for 1,2, or 3 seasons.
 
So they make a run and lose a close game. Still inexcusable!!! These are so overrated it's not funny.
 
Everyone involved with this program from Lavin on down to the players should embarrassed and ashamed at this performance today with so much on the line.

Come on ! This is no big surprise deep down we all knew that there were deficiencies Perhaps they played up to their abilities. Rather than go crazy I am looking forward to the NIT and for all the players too come back next yr and for coach to come u p with recruits to help us advance next yr
