Providence Game Thread

Glad lavin is concerned obekpa will fouls out of this game keepin him in the bench. Not that it would matter much I guess today
 
tough game to watch. Outworked most of the game. 2 games this year they needed to come up big (Xavier & this one) and both they came out small.
 
Sorry but this is not about coaching. I will say it again and I have said it from day one with group - they do not play hard enough to be good. They are talented but their effort is lacking

Good move keeping Obekpa on the bench with three fouls until down 20. I hope he doesn't foul out...we might lose.
 
There's multiple problems to address with this game, but a simple ball screen that keeps freeing up Fortune is something we don't run...ever.
It's reason #1 why Max or Marco get zero minutes. At least Lav is smart enough to keep them on the bench since he doesn't know how to run a ball screen for them.
 
Everyone involved with this program from Lavin on down to the players should embarrassed and ashamed at this performance today with so much on the line.
 
I agree. This is not all on lavin. We just suck all around today. But we needed an inside presence and I guess obekpa having 3 fouls u can't put him back in????

You're right; nobody is fighting on the boards because they were all sick the day Lavin taught pride
 
Too little too late!! We should have pressed this team from the start with their lack of depth.
 
Not Lavins fault........this team’s individual egos are bigger than their heads and are not as good as they think they are. Now they can focus on improving their game and attitude for next year.
 
Some of y'all do not know the game, if you truly believe every, single mishap is related to the coach. Either that or you clearly have an agenda. If you don't like the coach.... Fine. But do not make up things or exaggerate a point.

We're missing layups; getting outhustled; missing FTs amongst other things. Providence has done the small things all game long, and it has snowballed on us.
