I want to say the site is usually half-dead Super Bowl weekend, but I'm too lazy to search the archives.
 
:cheer: Team win all the way. Can't ask for better help defense. Jordan played under control, nice assists and didn't force his shots. Let game come to him. Pointer had another super performance - what a defensive job on Henton. Onto to Butler!

Here I am. I gave up at one and four, and still think we playing with half a team. Today it was enough and I'am still hopin and wishin.

My favorite win was against the 'Cuse, but this was undoubtedly the most important one. Really happy for the team ... they're a selfless, hardworking group.
 
Bench minutes allowed the closers to have some gas in the tank down the stretch.
 
There's life in these boys yet. Whatever the formula was for today, bottle and use it for the rest of the season.

I think part of the formula is for Jordan to keep duplicating what he did today. Winning is good. He came very close to giving coach a smooch, and I'm not lookin for that perfect bridge. Best second half D we seen in a while.

Most of us actually go to the home games, which is why it gets quiet.

Happy for the kids, especially the seniors and Chris. Hope that Jordan continues to be a means to an end for those seniors and us fans (play well enough to make the season interesting and off he goes).

Season not over but today's win don't change the fact that this team, like last years, should be in the NCAA tourney and if it doesn't that failure falls squarely on this stuff. We will all be pulling for a run of course because these seniors and Chris deserve it. But that doesn't excuse Jordan's repeated nonsense and Lavin's BS (and if you see my posts over the years and on JJ you will know that I've been a huge Lavin supporter).
 
Just got back from the game. One Providence loudmouth who was quiet all game started talking sh*t with about 2 mins to go, chating "NIT, NIT". It was dumb enough because Providence is no lock themselves for a bid, but when no one reacted, started yelling, "Where's Harrison's brother?" Then when no one reacted started yelling, "In jail for 25 years." At that point I turned around to look for him but he had shut up. Still steamed, and should have said something.

Am I too old to challenge a 20 year old? Probably. But also not smart enough not to do it. Hope I run into him again.

Greg was in my row again. Good guy. Nice game.

Of course it took Cuse and Uconn leaving for them to take the mantle.

He must not be aware tha LaDontae Henton also has a brother in prison. Really stupid to attack a kid's family for personal difficulties.
