Providence Game 2

See, I told you boys these kids aren't quite done just yet. After they win 4 in a row, they will be in good position to finish the season strong.

LOVE sweeping PC. Worst fans in basketball.

Nice win!
Defense and heart were never in question. Good to see a lot of guys stepping up on the offensive end. PGIV carried us early on. Sheed and Dom were game wreckers from a Friar perspective. D'Lo clutch down the stretch, which is good to see. I don't think he's 100%, but clearly getting better. CO was like a Hindu god on D, blocking everything in sight.

Where are all the crybabies at who gave up on the season after last game?

Wouldn't call them crybabies. Many are just tired of not going to the dance each year and are sometimes too quick to assume "here we go again."

Have said it before, this is one of my favorite teams in quite a while. These kids have tremendous heart and are warriors.. It's hard to not root for them and like them...at least for me.

Despite the bad run during January, I'm still enjoying this season. They closed the month out the right way.

A good win. From now on No more blue uniforms please.

Agree. Red or White. Nothing else!

I hope we can use this game a blueprint on getting back to .500. We are only a couple of games back. Dang that loss to Creighton really hurts.

Funny how quiet this site is when we win and play well
21 pages and probably more than half the members of this board at the game isn't exactly quiet.

I don't like the constant crying from certain people either, but this is a message board. People will vent and post things they probably shouldn't out of frustration, anger and not thinking clearly.

Again, great win. Very needed.

@CBarcaSTJ: Dom Pointer had 20 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Huge day for the senior. #SJUBB

Mr. Swiss Army Knife. Wish we could clone him and have at least two on the roster every year.

There's life in these boys yet. Whatever the formula was for today, bottle and use it for the rest of the season.
I think part of the formula is for Jordan to keep duplicating what he did today. Winning is good. He came very close to giving coach a smooch, and I'm not lookin for that perfect bridge. Best second half D we seen in a while.
