Providence, Fri., Dec. 20, 8p, FOX

While I’m relieved the Johnnies won, for those of you who want to justify the struggle due to Providence’s tough home court advantage, prior to our game it looks like St. Boniventure didn’t buy into that hype as they beat the Friars at their home court while controlling the game throughout till the last minute or so.

The close game was NOT due to any home court advantage, I don’t buy that at all. This is not your typically competitive PC team.

I know I am being overly hard with KR but only because he is barely tapping into his talent. Tonight he actually had a decent shooting night and his tendinitis obviously slowed him down.
As for the outcome, I think most of us knew Providence couldn't keep shooting 63% and running against us. I just want us to play 2 full halves starting with the next game.

The St. Bonaventure game was at Mohegan Sun. This is the first home loss of the season for PC.

He was very hobbled in the second half and wasn’t able to provide much, but still managed to get a steal and slick dish to Luis for an and one late in the game. Crucial play.

Nice to have some time off so Kadary can heal. As others have said, we’re gonna need him. No Kadary and you see how stale the offense can get at times. You really felt it down the stretch tonight

Providence had a great defensive game plan and just baited us into taking mid range jumper after mid range jumper. And we were ice cold.

I was screaming at the tv for us to stop pulling up and take these drives right to the rim.

And of corse RJ becomes the whipping boy on the board. Let’s see, 16 points 6 boards but he didn’t shoot very well 5-13. But why isn’t anyone complaining about Wilcher 1-10 or Scott’s
1-7 Not to mention RJs tremendous defensive effort while some more popular players were getting blown by in a regular basis. Other then RJ and Luis, who else went to the basket?????
