Providence, Fri., Dec. 20, 8p, FOX

I believe in Scott. I think he turns it around with his shooting. I think the more games we win , confidence grows and the pressure lessens just a little. There are high expectations for this team and I think the guys are feeling it. I think if we can just get ourselves a little bit of breathing room this team will really start to take off.
His shot selection has been awful all year. Maybe one of the stat nerds can pull up his spray chart, but he seems to miss almost every shot he takes out of rhythm not from the corners.

Cranky Don, you aren’t looking at the full picture. You’re being completely negative because you don’t respect Providence as an opponent and think we should’ve been able to roll past them.

Big East play is hard. It was our first true road game of the season. Kadary was nearly invisible and clearly not 100%. Providence was lights out from 3 in the first half. Our defense wasn’t good in the first half either.

But guess what? We picked up our defense and our effort in the second half and we gritted out a win. We got to nearly every loose ball down the stretch. We lost control of momentum several times, but clawed back. Everyone here knows this team has many things to work out. A clear work in progress. But to make the dance we need to win as many BE games as possible and we just nabbed a road win in a game where we were 11-26 from the line. I’m sorry but I just think bombarding the board with negative post after negative post after that win has nothing to do with the teams issues, and everything to do with you.

Have a blessed night
Kadary was invisible? He was the only one scoring in the first half. PC is just not that good no matter which way you slice it. Let’s see how they do against other supposed good teams.

Johnnies looked poorly prepared to guard that team all night. Even in a better second half, they were getting too many easy open drives.

I don’t need advice from you. I just watched a horrific performance and while the win was nice, I look at the whole picture and I feel there were more issues then missed foul shots. The constant changing line ups is one of many issues.

I also believe that going to Luis was the right move. He took it to the hole while others were missing wild three pointers. While he screwed up at the line, he kept the team in the game at the end. Clearly there are many who don’t understand the game.
Dude, we won a road game at the Dunk. Nothing else matters.

Great point. yukon went to O/T in Hartford against a ''down'' Xavier team who was missing Freemantle. It's the Big East. Gonna happen again.
This.

You take ANY Win on the Road in the Big East- and you be happy- lol

Is this a Good Providence team? I don’t think so… but the AMP is one of the best 6th mans there is.

Extremely proud of the boys for battling back- showed that dog in em.

Merry Christmas Fellas!

I completely agree. I was almost relieved they continued to play on the last play. I hate giving the defense a chance to not only reset, but have a chance to cause a five-second violation or an in-bound steal.
I disagree cause it’s not like we were pushing the ball up the court and the defense was pretty set. And since we put up a poor shot showed there was no plan. We got lucky in the rebound and put back.
