Exactly, that guy (Owens' Dad) is a phony. Always trying to have it both ways. Says he'll always love St. John's in one tweet and taking a shot in the next.

He is the biggest homer there is too. Never had a negative thing to say about Norm, Lavin or Mullin.

Thought it was gonna be a special season, but the season took a crap.

They lose at creighton on Wednesday, and I'll say new coach next year too.

Can’t keep fooling ourself season is over,pick a remaining game we should win Rereally hope. I am wrong but we will be hard press to win Still will watch in hope of a turn around but if we only win one more big east game could not be upset Perhaps they are doing the best they can. I support coach and staff but it is time for accountability

Guys, the NCAA tourney really is not THAT hard to reach. PC, SH, Creighton, Butler, X, Nova, etc. do it all the time. Marquette will this year. We've been so terrible the past 4 years that I feel like we are holding that up as the holy grail just to make it. Feels lightyears away but remember, that's not because it is lightyears away. It's because we have the worst coaching in the nation. You can stick with the crazy gf who ruins your life, or you can cut her off and move on to find someone compatible. Sure, you'd have to start over and there may be a certain level of comfort with the crazy gf, but regardless you have to move on and do what's best for you. There were tons of signs that this experiment was trending towards failure and unfortunately they turned out to be accurate. Let's cut our losses and move on. The sooner we press reset, the sooner we can rebuild and try to start competing again.

Works better in D-III -- where coincidentally the young guy doing our actual coaching played his college ball -- because the height difference between point guards and centers there is generally about four or five inches, and the guy playing center usually can't jump over a sheet of printer paper.
 
If things don't change dramatically, this will be the sixth consecutive failed coaching staff. Rutgers and DePaul give us competition for the worst run athletic department, as it relates to basketball.
The new AD better solve this problem before he starts knocking down walls at Carnesecca Arena and moving all our conference games to MSG.
